Handy Flo 500 is an exclusive system used by manufacturing jewelers and silversmiths for joining gold alloys. This series was developed for manufacturing jewelers and silversmiths to braze Karat gold alloys. Formulations are available to suit 3 to 22 Karat golds for a variety of color and temperature combinations.

Brazing and soldering pastes incorporate filler metal, flux, and a binder in a one-step application process. Because pastes are readily applied, they lend themselves well to both manual and automated production operations. We offer several flux/binder systems for specific temperature ranges and brazing processes.

Handy Flo 500 Jewelry Pastes	Active Temp Range For Flux	Working Characteristics
Handy Flo 510 For open air heating applications where flux is required. General purpose system works with all Karat variations. Typically formulated with -325 mesh powder, and 65% metal by weight.	525°C - 900°C 1000°F - 1650°F	Fairly restrictive, stable flux/binder system for most general purpose applications.
Handy Flo 530 For furnace brazing applications. Metal concentrations are typically as high as 91%.	Flux Free	Flux free formulation, burns off clean and will not leave any residue after heating.
Handy Flo 533/535 For induction and furnace brazing where some flux is required. Typically 75% metal by weight.	525°C - 900°C 1000°F - 1650°F	Fairly restrictive with a small addition of flux for furnace brazing applications.
